Feeding Guidelines
Just like you, your dog is a unique individual, and his feeding requirements will vary with his breed, environment, age and activity. That’s why we suggest using this chart as a starting point, and monitoring your dog’s weight and adjusting his rations as needed.
We recommend feeding him twice daily and always keep fresh, clean water available.
When switching diets, it’s important to transition your dog as it takes time for his digestive system to adapt to the richer nutrient levels in Acana. Over a seven day period, gradually mix in Acana, increasing the amount each day so that by day seven you are feeding 100% Acana.
Use a standard 250ml/120g measuring cup. Serve dry or lightly moistened. See your veterinarian regularly. To help maintain freshness, we recommend sealing the bag tightly and storing it in a cool, dry location.
