ACANA  Senior Recipe features higher protein levels from richly nourishing free-run chicken, nest-laid eggs and whole wild-caught hake delivered to Acana’s kitchens fresh from their region, so they’re loaded with goodness and taste.

All dogs of all breeds, older than seven years for small to medium breeds and five years for Large and Giant breeds, can eat Acana’s Senior Dog food. It will keep their bodies in good condition through the later stages of their lives. Senior dogs are best fed a diet rich in meat proteins to support lean muscle mass yet limited in carbohydrates, which can lead to obesity and diabetes.

The table below provides a starting point, to be adjusted as needed to maintain optimum weight and peak conditioning. We suggest monitoring your dog’s weight and adjusting rations as needed. We recommend feeding twice daily and always keeping fresh, clean water available.

Acana Senior Recipe

Use a standard 250ml/120g measuring cup. Serve dry or lightly moistened. See your veterinarian regularly. To help maintain freshness, we recommend sealing the bag tightly and storing it in a cool, dry location.
