The standard belly panel features two side-release buckles to ensure a quick and easy fit. Four adjustment points help provide an optimal fit. TheRuffwear Front Range has two leash-attachment points: one on the back with a fitted aluminium V-ring, secure for walking excursions; and a reinforced webbing loop at the front for training and redirecting a dog that tends to pull on his leash. 

An I.D. pouch is safely tugged under the Ruffwear sign at the top of the martingale panel. 

Ruffwear Front Range Harness has a 360-degree reflective trim that boosts visibility in low-light conditions and a fitted light loop, compatible with the Beacon Led Light.

Ruffwear Front Range Harness is easy to clean: hand wash with mild detergent and allow to air dry.

Sizing

  • Sizing is based on girth measurement.
  • Measure the widest part of your dog’s rib cage.
  • When your dog is in between sizes, choose the larger of the two sizes in the front range harness.
  • Begin by opening the neck area by sliding the adjusters on both neck straps towards the reinforced webbing loop on the chest panel.
  • Then unclip the two buckles and loosen the girth straps by sliding the adjuster towards the buckle.
  • When the straps are lengthened out, with a single layer of webbing remaining, put the harness on your pup.
  • Slide the harness over your dog’s head, positioning it with the Ruffwear logo and middle V-ring on top and buckle the two girth straps.
  • Adjust the harness to sit just below the neck and over the shoulders. It must be snug but with space to slide two fingers between the strap and the dog.
  • Tighten the neck area by moving the adjuster toward the top of the harness
  • Hold the adjuster in one hand and pull on the top strand of webbing below it away from the adjuster to tighten the girth strap.
  • Hold the adjuster in one hand and pull on the bottom strand of the webbing above it away from the adjuster.
  • Alternatively, unbuckle the strap you are working on and adjust buckling it.
  • The girth straps must be adjusted equally for the harness to remain centred on the dog’s back and chest.
  • Slide the Martingale over the head and buckle the side-release buckles.
  • Adjust the 3-bar adjuster and the buckle.
  • Take off by releasing both buckles and sliding the harness over his head.
