The PetSafe Microchip Rfid Key is designed to be used with the Microchip Cat Flap. It comes in handy when your pet’s microchip ID is not compatible with the flap when you have an additional pet using the flap, or as a replacement if your pet’s Microchip Cat Flap Key goes missing.

Worn on your pet’s collar, the Microchip Cat Flap Rfid Key utilises radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology. It uses a unique code to communicate with the Microchip Cat Flap, allowing it to operate according to your pet’s programmed settings.

The Microchip Cat Flap Rfid Key is approximately the size of a bottle cap and doesn’t require any batteries to function. Each Microchip Cat Flap can be programmed to recognise up to 20 Microchip Cat Flap Keys.
