Feeding Guide
The chart below provides a starting point, to be adjusted as needed to maintain optimum weight and peak conditioning. We suggest monitoring your pet’s weight and adjusting rations as needed. We recommend feeding twice daily and always keeping fresh, clean water available. Because your dog is unique and ORIJEN pet foods are so protein-rich, feeding amounts may vary. Using this chart as a guide, monitor their weight and adjust portions as needed. Be sure to feed twice daily and provide plenty of fresh, clean water. GESTATION: Increase from 25% to 50% of the adult amount LACTATION: Feed “free choice” PUPPIES: At 1 ½ – 3 months old, feed twice the adult amount. At 3 – 6 months, feed 1 ½ times the adult amount. At 6 – 11 months, feed 1 ¼ times the adult amount.
