It can hide on pets and animals; around plants and bushes in your yard where infested animals frequent; developing stages of fleas may be lurking on carpets, floors and sofas. Fleas infestations start with just two fleas laying hundreds of eggs within a matter of days. Therefore it’s essential to treat your dogs and cats regularly with tick and flea treatment and prevention products. Marltons Tick and Flea Powder is effective in controlling ticks and fleas on both dogs and cats.

Directions of use

Use only as directed. Not to be used on any animal younger than 8 weeks old.

  • Thoroughly dust your dog or cat and work powder into the pet’s hair coat using a brush. 
  • Dust every 3 – 4 days or at shorter intervals, if necessary. 
  • If your dog or cat have been treated with Marltons Dip or Marltons Tick and Flea Shampoo, then this powder can be applied between weekly treatments for flea infestation if necessary. 

Where there are a very high tick and flea challenge, it will be necessary to use a tick and flea control programme, which would include the use of this powder every 3 – 4 days or at shorter intervals, together with the Marltons Tick and Flea Dip and Shampoo. In conjunction, the pets’ bedding can be treated with Marltons Tick and Flea Powder.
