Hurtta is a Finnish company that makes rugged yet comfortable apparel and dog accessories designed to withstand extreme conditions. Hurtta originated from the owners’ need to protect their furry friends from the harsh and unpredictable outdoor conditions of northern Europe. Behind the brand is the need to endlessly explore the outdoors, rather than hide from it, so they design products to facilitate that exploration while protecting dogs.

A group of professionals in the clothing industry shifted their focus to make functional apparel for their dogs, so they could accompany their humans on trails, through parks, and on other terrain. Though their dog apparel is designed to withstand the unrelenting winters of Finland, their other gear – collars, harnesses and accessories – is made with the same level of testing and perfecting, so you can be assured of Hurtta’s high quality and durability.
