Fiprotec (Fipronil) will disrupt the nervous system of ticks and fleas on your large dog and continue to do so for a whole month. This topical treatment kills all eggs, larvae and adult ticks and fleas.  Within one day all the fleas on your dog will die.

Fiprotec effectively targets fleas and ticks.  Fipronil collects in the oils of the skin and hair follicles and continues to be released onto the skin and coat, resulting in residual activity.

Directions for use

USE ONLY AS DIRECTED

  • DO NOT bath or shampoo animals 3 days before or 3 days after application as this will decrease the duration of the activity.
  • Remove a pipette from the rack
  • Twist off the top
  • Part the hair between the shoulder blades so that the skin is visible.  Empty the contents of the container directly onto the visible skin by squeezing the pipette a number of times
  • If an excessive amount of the contents wet the actual hair it will impart a sticky appearance which will disappear within 24 hours
  • The active ingredient (Fipronil) will spread over the entire coat of the animal within 24 hours
  • Monthly application is recommended where there is a high risk of re infestation, if the pet is allergic to fleas, or in situations where tick control is needed.

    I have applied this product to my Alsation, as per instructions. It had no effect on the fleas. With her thick coat it is difficult to find fleas but they are still there, found a couple. Will be switching to another product
