Bravecto’s chewable tablet will start killing ticks and fleas in just 2 hours. Bravecto has an active ingredient which is a completely new compound, so there is no known tick or flea resistance to it.

Bravecto works fast, continuously and protects, giving you the power to fight against a flea infestation on your pet or in your home. It usually takes 3 months to get rid of flea infestations in your home environment. With top-spot treatment, sometimes it is forgotten to reapply the treatment every month allowing the fleas to lay eggs before application. This means your home is never free of fleas. Only one Bravecto will get rid of the infestation.

How does Bravecto work?

Once you have given your dog a Bravecto to chew on, it quickly reaches tissue fluids under your dogs skin. When the pests feed, they ingest Bravecto and die.

Will my dog like Bravecto?

In a study, over 93% of dogs ate the chew voluntarily, either with food or by itself.

Is Bravecto safe?

If your puppy is 8 week or older and weighs 2 kg or more, then Bravecto is safe for your dog. Bravecto is also safe for breeding dogs, pregnant dogs and lactating dogs.

Can Bravecto be crumbled or broken up and given with food?

The package insert states that Bravecto should be administered orally as a single dose. If the chew is broken or crumbled, you need to make sure every morsel has been taken. One full chew is one dose.

Are there any negative effects when using this product?

If your dog vomits after having the Bravecto chew, consult your vet to decide whether to re-dose your dog or not.

If your dog is healthy and vomits within 3 hours of receiving Bravecto Chew, then you should re-dose. If the vomiting repeats again, DO NOT give a third dose. Discuss the situation with your veterinarian.

If 4 hours or more have passed before vomiting occurs, it is likely the medication has been absorbed and your dog is protected.
