INDICATIONS
This is an oral homoeopathic remedy for the relief of travel sickness in animals. It is indicated for:
- Travel sickness and recent vomiting
- Anaesthesia – to prepare for and to assist in recovery from anaesthesia
- Antisocial behaviour, excitement, hyperactive behaviour, nervousness, restlessness
- Anxiety, digestive upsets, noise sensitivity, performance tension, sleeplessness
- Basketing of racing pigeons
- Fears: crowds, dark, other animals, racing, showing, sudden noise, thunder, travel, veterinary clinics
- Performance tension, showing anxiety and tension
- Stress: symptoms of edginess, excitability, irritability, moodiness, restlessness

Warnings
Please consult your veterinarian if symptoms are severe or persist for longer than three days without improvement. If the animal is taking other remedies, the advice of a veterinarian should be sought before treatment is commenced. Be advised that where remedies have been prescribed for a particular patient or patients, the remedy should not be used for any other animals unless so advised by your veterinarian. The effect of the remedy may be reduced if the animal has received treatment with steroids or anti-inflammatory drugs within the previous four weeks. Keep out of the reach of children and uninformed persons. Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions, failure hereof may result due to a wide variety of reasons. If the desired results are not achieved within an appropriate time period, notify the registration holder.
Dosage
The remedy should be administered orally using a clean, dry, plastic syringe or spoon. Administer remedy at least 10 minutes before a meal. Other ECO-VET remedies may be administered concurrently at an interval of approximately ten minutes between doses. To assist an animal in recovering from unexpected stress, doses of ECO-TRAVEL may be repeated three times at thirty-minute intervals. Undue stress on an animal can effectively be reduced by administering three doses over a period of twelve hours before the transport of the animal or an expected stressful event.
GENERAL ADMINISTRATION AND RECOMMENDED DOSES
FISH (ornamental): Use 1ml of remedy per 20 litres water in the fish tank. Dilute in a little water and add to tank. Repeat the process daily for five days.
BIRDS: Small birds up to and including parrots and racing pigeons: Add 1 ml of remedy to 10 ml water in a clean container and mix thoroughly. Add 1 ml of this mixture to 20 ml of drinking water. Repeat once a day for five days preparing fresh solutions daily.
LARGER BIRDS: Add 1 ml of remedy to 10 ml water in a clean container and mix thoroughly. Add the recommended dose of this mixture to 20 ml of drinking water. Repeat once a day for five days preparing fresh solutions daily.
SMALL MAMMALS: MICE, RATS, HAMSTERS, RABBITS, TINY KITTENS & PUPPIES: Add 1 ml of the remedy to 10 ml water in a clean container and mix thoroughly. Administer five drops of this mixture directly into the front of the mouth. Repeat the process up to six times daily. Alternatively, mix 1 ml of remedy directly into 250 ml of drinking water.
CATS AND SMALL DOGS under 8 kg: Add 2 ml of the remedy to 10 ml water in a clean container and mix thoroughly. Administer 2 ml of this mixture directly into the mouth up to five times daily. Alternatively, mix 1ml of remedy directly into 250 ml of drinking water. If the animal will tolerate the remedy directly into the mouth, administer 0.5 ml three times daily.
DOGS 8-15 kg: Mix 1 ml of the remedy with 2 ml water and administered directly into the mouth, three times daily.
LARGE DOGS 15-30 kg: Administer 2 ml of remedy directly into the mouth three times daily.
FOALS AND SMALL PONIES: Mix 3 ml of the remedy with 3 ml water in a syringe and administer directly into the mouth, three to four times daily.
HORSES: Mix 5 ml of the remedy with 5 ml water in a syringe and administer directly into the mouth three times daily.
