Introducing Eco-Vet Eco-Diarrho, a herbal remedy to help your pet with diarrhoea. Loose, liquid and frequent stools are the most common symptoms of diarrhoea in pets. Lethargy, dehydration, fever, vomiting, decreased appetite, weight loss and an increased urgency to defecate may also accompany diarrhoea.
Eco-Diarrho helps with diarrhoea, mild food poisoning, gastrointestinal spasms, poor digestion and upset tummies.
This natural remedy has no side effects or toxins, meaning it won’t harm when it heals. Give Eco-Vet Eco-Diarrho a try and reap the benefits of a healthy, happy pet. After all, Eco-Vet loves animals—naturally!
You can use it alongside ECO-COLIC for diarrhoea with pain, ECO-ULCER for gastrointestinal spasms or chronic bowel problems, and ECO-HEAL for first aid or extra anti-inflammatory support.
Eco-Diarrho is available in 50 ml.
Storage: Store at or below 25°c and away from direct sunlight. Keep it out of the reach of kids and pets.
Frequency of dose
For acute or recent symptoms:
Administer the recommended dose every 30 minutes for a total of four doses. Then, give a dose every 3 hours for three doses. Thereafter, reduce the frequency to 3 times daily until bowel movements are regular.
For chronic problems:
Administer the recommended dose three times daily, 20 minutes before each feeding.
Administer the prescribed dose of the medicine 20 minutes before meals and at least 10 minutes away from other medications or supplements. If you are using more than one Eco-Vet medicine at a time, please give the medications 10 minutes apart for maximum efficacy.
Preparation of medicine and directions for administration
ECO-DIARRHO is prepared in 20% ethanol and should, therefore, be diluted before giving it to your animal.
While water is the best medium for administration, if your pet does not tolerate water, you can substitute milk. As a last resort, you can give it as a little treat, but this may delay or impact the efficacy of the medicine.
When administering the medicine directly into your pet’s mouth, dilute it in clean water and allow it to stand for a few minutes to allow the alcohol to evaporate. You can then administer the recommended dose of the diluted medicine directly into the mouth using a clean, dry plastic spoon or syringe.
Alternatively, you can add the recommended dose of the medicine to the animal’s drinking water, stir with a plastic spoon, and let it stand for a few minutes to allow any alcohol to evaporate before administering it to your pet. Be sure to replenish fresh drinking water at least once a day, or whenever the water becomes soiled or dirty.
Precautions/Things to know before you use this medicine
Small animals can dehydrate quickly, so ensure your pet remains well hydrated if suffering from diarrhoea. Please consult your veterinarian if symptoms are severe and persist for longer than 8 hours without improvement.
There are no known side effects. If your pet’s condition starts to deteriorate, please consult your veterinarian.
Giving an overdose or too much medicine is unlikely with a homoeopathic medicine because it contains such minute doses of material substance. The only problem is if the medicine is not diluted correctly and the animal consumes too much alcohol, in which case you should consult your veterinarian.
